After graduation there in 1963, I went into newspaper work and also served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Malawi/East Africa for 3 years. After that I spent 25+ years in the Tri-Cities area -- in news reporting and then public relations work on nuclear & technical projects at the Hanford Site -- a very interesting & challenging career.
