After teaching high school math for 4 years, raised my 2 kids (boy/girl) until Erich changed jobs. We moved to Iowa City and bought a 7 acre "farm". We raised sheep /lambs, steers, and chickens for fun and food. We dabbled in miniture goats & peacocks. Finally we raised llamas for 8 years (ending with 25) and took them on lots of outings in local towns to get them trained. So a city girl learned a lot, esp. at the local Amish auction barn - I even had a calf I bought stolen from the auction barn before I could load him but the rustler was chased and the calf returned. I went back to school, got an EdS in Instructional Design and then a job at the college helping to design computer instruction. Erich retired early, we bought an RV and spent 6 months exploring Canada and in the US. We still enjoy RV'ing and hiking, grandkids, gardening & other projects. This fall we will work hard helping to get some Democrats elected.
