State/Prov.: WA Occupation: Actor/Director Website: www.rickevelt.com Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 2 From Rick: Our Class of '58 reunion was most definitely something special - and how great to be back in contact with so many fondly remembered classmates! As we all asked, where did the past 50 years go? Two great kids with former wife Carol Anderson and now two teenage grandkids. I have had the great good fortune to continue the acting and directing, over 300 shows now, in roles ranging from Shakespeare to musical comedy. For many years I was the artistic director for Renton Civic Theatre, and later on Seattle's Civic Light Opera. Freelancing now, but do tour regularly in - of all things - a one-man show, "Bully! An Adventure with Teddy Roosevelt." If you want to see this old ham in action as TR, check out a scene in my web site. Besides the onstage work, I've been a working actor in films, radio and TV commercials, CD-Roms and video games. For those who remember the dance band, my trumpet has been passed on to the next generation: my son who plays that horn better than I ever could! |

State/Prov.: AZ Occupation: Novelist Website: hometown.aol.com/gigimm2/ - myhomepage/business.html Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 2 From Merle: Can you believe it's been 50 years? I graduated a semester early in January of '58, and married that same month. As a result, my husband, Don, and I recently celebrated our 50th anniversary. We lived fairly normal lives until 1974, when we went into the Arabian Horse business. Our lives really changed after that. During the thirty years in the horse business, we raised a son and daughter. I pursued careers as a paralegal, scenic photographer, banker, and then as a novelist. The past six years, I've been heavily involved with a young adult literacy project, The Longjohners' Mystery Series, which I write for a small publishing house. There are five titles so far in the series, the fifth of which was awarded a National literature prize in 2007. The past year was devoted to writing an adult thriller which is being evaluated by a San Francisco publisher as I type. Don and I currently live in Scottsdale, the land of too much sunshine for this Seattle girl. |

Occupation: retired
Marital Status: Widowed No. of Children: 3 From Judy: Five years ago, my beloved Joe passed away suddenly from acute bacterial meningitis. We had a wonderful life, and he was loved and respected by all who knew him. I am now a "snowbird" living in Tucson in the winter with my fiance Don McClelland (how ironic is that!) and in Bothell in summer. A group of '58 girls and I take a yearly "class trip" to someplace fun. Out trip in "08 will be to the reunion! |

City: Orlando
State/Prov.: Florida Occupation: Retired Marital Status: Widowed No. of Children: 4 From Mary: Since graduating from Roosevelt High School, I have had no contact with any classmates in my graduating class or otherwise. Upon graduation, I left home and moved to Los Angeles, CA. Except for a few brief visits many years ago, I never returned to Seatle. Prior to my marriage in 1961, I worked one year and then attended two years of further education. For 39 years, I was a pastor's wife, actively serving alongside my husband in seven congregations in different states. Together we had four children, including twin girls. In 2000, he passed away as a result of Acute Myelogenous Leukemia. I am blessed with 15 grandchildren. Thankfully, I am a sixteen year cancer survivor. I wrote a book, which was published and released in early 2008 -- A LEGACY OF HOPE: Rescued from the Quicksand of Dysfunction. |
